| ~ BE GENTLE WITH YOUR LIFE ~ If the winds of fortune are temporarily blowing against you, remember that you can harness them and make them carry you toward your definite purpose through the use of your imagination. Just because someone doesn't love you the way you want them to, doesn't mean they don't love you with all they have. A true friend is one who reaches for your hand and touches your heart. Never frown, even when you are sad, because you never know who's falling in love with your smile. To the world, you may be just one person, but to one person, you may be the world. Don't cry because it's over.....smile because it happened. There was a little sparrow lying on the ground with his feet up in the air. Someone asked him what he was doing and he replied, "The sky is going to fall." The person then asked, "What do you think you can do about it?" The little sparrow answered, "One must do what one can." We make a living by what we get ... we make a life by what we give. The sound of a kiss is not as loud as a cannon, but its echo lasts much longer. Those who cannot weep with their whole heart also do not know how to laugh. Be gentle with your life ... love is precious and it may not be here tomorrow ... love with all your heart. Be yourself ... who else is better qualified? Courage: Standing for what you believe in, regardless of the odds against you, and pressure that tears at your resistance. Determination: Stopping at nothing and doing what is in your heart when you know that it is right. Strength: Keeping a smile on your face, when inside you feel like dying, for the sake of supporting others. Loyalty: Helping a friend in need, no matter the time or effort, to the very best of your ability. Compassion: Doing more than is expected, to make another's life bearable, without uttering a single complaint. |
